On Screen GreenMedford, OR (PressExposure) December 30, 2007 -- Green building and high performance homes are multi faceted and emerging into all of our building, buying and living experience. Travel with Don McCoy and Kim Lewis as they take you on a tour of Oregon Green Homes. You will learn about Straw Bale homes, ICF, SIP panel and Earth Advantage Certified homes. Solar water and electricity, tank less hot water systems, radiant floor heating and much more will be shown. This 1 hour DVD is a 2 part series. It is a great visual and hands on for learning the fundamentals of “green” terminology and language. The first segment, previewed while still in its rough-cut phase, has exceptional video quality and offers plenty of information for the novice who wants to grasp the sustainable-building industry. A few technical terms might go beyond some viewers' understanding, but for the most part the video explains the virtues and practices of green building in everyday language.
The editing flows nicely, while the diverse subject matter and the personalities of people being interviewed keep the video interesting from start to finish. Mellow background music, vibrant still photographs of Southern Oregon locales and the occasional "This Old House"-style of videography complete the package. — Troy Heie MailTribune About Oregon Green Homes Press Release Source: http://PressExposure.com/PR/Oregon_Green_Homes.html Press Release Submitted On: December 29 22:50:34, 2007 | |||
