Milwaukee, WI (PressExposure) August 07, 2008 -- Beginning Monday night, August 11, RECOVERY NOW, a weekly discussion about alcoholism and drug addiction, will debut on http://Drug-Addiction-Support.org and http://Alcoholism-Support.org at 7:00 CDT. The show will be an informal discussion of topics relating to drug addiction and alcoholism, and offers help to those needing information on these issues.

Ned Wicker, website editor and Addictions Chaplain, will host the program. He will be joined by Rev. Dr. Dan Geeding and Debbie Wicker, website publisher and business manager.

"There is so much material out there on the subject of addiction, and so much more is being added to the body of knowledge every day, but the human experience hasn't changed over the centuries and it's the human side of addiction that we'll focus on every week on Recovery Now, while also presenting medical and scientific information.

"Alcoholism and drug addiction are about the human condition. We'll try to break down the barriers and stigmas associated with the struggle that millions of people face every day. We will endeavor to go beyond the addiction and see the person. There is nothing more precious than a human life."
