Lazy Ghost Films Announces Dvd Release Of Horror Cult Comedy "SPECIAL dEaD"Los Angles, CA (PressExposure) October 22, 2007 -- Special dEaD, the world’s goriest, most politically incorrect empowerment film challenges stereotypes while begging the question: “Ever Ride a Zombie Horse?” Directed by Thomas L. Phillips and Sean Simmons, and written by Jared Tweedie, Special dEaD is a Horror Comedy set high in the zombie-infested hills of Corona, California. When a zombie plague infects Camp Special Dude, a dude ranch for the mentally handicapped, a ragtag band of campers and counselors struggles to survive the night. Led by the indifferent, nunchuck-wielding head counselor, Mac, and his wheelchair-bound sister Dale, the unlikely heroes fight their way off the mountain as, one by one, they’re picked off and join the ranks of the walking dead. It’s is a campy stampede of boobs, blood, and gore. The DVD will feature never-before-seen footage, including: Riding The Short Bus (a making of montage), a behind the scenes slide show, a feature-length cast and crew commentary, the original trailer and a hidden campy sing-a-long special surprise.
Thomas L. Phillips adds, “After having a great run in the film festivals, and nearly a million unique visitors on our website, from all over the world, we knew it was time to release the movie.” About Lazy Ghost Films Contact Information:
