Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand (PressExposure) November 08, 2006 -- Grizzlynut is an online shopping network, design with the average New Zealander in mind.
I used to get quite frustrated (arrgghhh) when I would want to do some online shopping - because I would go onto a search engine & type in “online tyre shopping” (for example) & only click on the “from New Zealand” checkbox.

Then… the search engine would wirr away & spit up the results. Yay, I would think - there are 67,000 tyre shops that I can look through. Ummm - no - WRONG!

When looking further at the links I would discover:

1) Most of them are not from New Zealand

2) Most of them do not even ship to New Zealand

3) Some of them are not even in English

4) Most of them do not actually sell tyres online

5) Some of them were not even online tyre shops!

The 10% that were online shops, that did ship to New Zealand - were so lost amongst the garbage that didn’t, I was really annoyed and ended up getting my tyres (or whatever else) offline.

So…. that’s when I came up with Grizzlynut - only online shops, only shops that ship to new zealand, and only relevant shops!
