Charleston, South Carolina (PressExposure) October 08, 2007 -- Charleston, S.C. Relationship coach Glenn Cohen of “I-TO-WE” Relationship coaching will be the featured speaker for one of the breakout sessions at the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Annual Convention. On Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 11:00 AM, he will conduct a presentation titled, “Communicate and Compromise Successfully with Co-Workers and Customers.”

Glenn is the author of The Journey from “I-TO-WE.” The second edition of his groundbreaking book on how to create Emotionally Intelligent Relationships will be available by the end of November of 2007

Glenn’s speech will explain how to use the 3 C’s as the basis for creating Emotionally Intelligent Relationships in the workplace. “I believe effective communication begins with the self. We have to understand the energy we bring to the table. If fear is controlling our mind and emotions, then in most cases we will bring negative assumptions which will inhibit successful completion of the 3 C’s.”

Glenn said people must connect with each other before they begin to communicate. Communication needs to be conducted in a manner that both parties feel safe to effectively speech and listen. Once the first 2 C’s are in place then compromising is easier to obtain.
