
Georgetown Locals Cool Off and Get Healthy at a DiscountWashington, DC (PressExposure) July 06, 2007 -- On July 14, from 3 – 5 p.m. a local Georgetown restaurant, paper store, and author take time off to meet the community. Wisey's, located at 1440 Wisconsin Ave NW, invites author Michelle Katz, MSN, to meet and greet it's patrons for an afternoon of free smoothies and healthcare savings tips. "I'm very excited to be the host of this event," says Nabeel Audeh, owner and founder of Wisey's. "Michelle has taught me so much that I want my customers to get the same savings tips." Even local store, Just Paper, wanted to get involved and give back to their neighborhood. Audeh is offering his healthy fan favorite smoothies for free during the time of the event to anyone who stops by and buys a sandwich. Meanwhile, Katz will be available for customers to pick her brain about ways to cut back costs, what she thinks about Michael Moore's new movie, "Sicko," and how presidential hopefuls have outlines their health care plans and how it will effect Americans. Katz will bring both her books, 101 Health Insurance Tips and Healthcare for Less¸ for patrons to purchase at discounted prices of 10 and 15 dollars, respectively. She will sign books, and would love to hear from customers about their own personal health care horror stories to perhaps address in her next book.
