The Magellan® 8400 scanner is a high-performance POS bi-optic scanner. This newest Magellan® improves operational efficiency by achieving outstanding first-pass-read rates and offering the newest Datalogic Scanning bi-optic technology for reading poor-quality bar code labels.

The Magellan® 8400 scanner/scale comes standard with the exclusive and patented All-Weighs® platter for significantly reducing produce shrink at the front end caused by inaccurate weighing. The product’s quality and reliability significantly reduces component failure points. The Magellan® 8400 is available as either a scanner/scale or as a scanner only. The scanner/scale is available in two lengths: long and medium. The scanner alone is available in three lengths: long, medium, and short.
