Beth Nehamah Hospice: Honoring Life – Cherishing AllAurora, Colorado (PressExposure) January 08, 2008 -- Because Beth Nehamah Hospice is committed to honoring each individual’s personal choices, services are offered to clients wherever they call home – a care center, an assisted living environment or a private home. Beth Nehamah’s focus is to provide skilled symptom management with professional and compassionate emotional and spiritual support to ensure that clients maintain dignity and quality of life. Beth Nehamah Hospice’s core values are: believing that all persons are sacred; enhancing individuality; and supporting the whole person – emotionally, physically and spiritually. “The goal of Beth Nehamah Hospice is to offer more than routine hospice services. We honor patients and their choices,” Milissa Barres, Executive Director, states. “We believe patients deserve the highest standard of care, especially at this time in their lives.” Hospice is a specialized type of care provided to terminally ill patients and their loved ones, and is designed to promote comfort during the end stage of life. It focuses on treating the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the dying. Hospice care is generally initiated when a person is given a terminal diagnosis limiting their life expectancy to less than six months and after other medical options are exhausted or no longer deemed appropriate. Beth Nehamah’s highly qualified staff has a combined total of more than 100 years of professional experience. The staff is committed to being sensitive to personal, cultural and religious values while honoring one’s beliefs and practices.
