4-H Looks to Bark to Boost the Foundation’s LegacyLondon, Ontario, Canada (PressExposure) February 21, 2008 -- Bark Communications is pleased to announce that they will be working with 4-H Ontario on a new campaign to boost the awareness of the Ontario 4-H Foundation Legacy Endowment Fund. Started in 1998, the Ontario 4-H Foundation is a federally incorporated charitable organization. Its’ mandate is to receive and manage endowment funds and to encourage on-going partnerships that will ensure the long-term sustainability of 4-H Ontario. Income from the Foundation is used to train 4-H volunteers, develop timely new 4-H projects and provide funding for provincial 4-H events. These events include Future Talk, Provincial Leadership Camp, Future Leaders in Action and Careermania, and other youth-focused programs. “Partnerships lead to great results. Bark Communications brings to the Foundation a great understanding and expertise of our rural agricultural roots and wonderful expertise in working with community development and non-profit agencies. Working together we will be sharing the great opportunities for Ontario residents to leave a legacy that will forever impact their communities through the great youth focused programs of 4-H Ontario. 4-H has been developing leaders in Ontario since 1915. A wonderful new program being launched by the Foundation is their Local 4-H Association Endowment Fund program. This program will enable donors to create long term impact within their own community’s 4-H program. We thank Bark for being a valued partner of the work we do” says Lyndon Stewart, Executive Director of 4-H Ontario. Bark is committed to the future of the Agricultural industry, and is proud to be helping 4-H Ontario and the Ontario 4-H Foundation in the positive work they are doing for the industry and its communities.
